How To Defend Yourself If Someone Lifts You Up
When you fight for self defense, never underestimate your opponent. He might not look big, but you just don't know what he is capable of doing. He might have some background or have some fighting skills.
On the other hand, when you see a big guy, you might think he is going to crush you. No one has to remind you, never underestimate your opponent when you see someone bigger and stronger than you. You get the point, don't you? ;)
If a guy like this (hope you can see the picture above) comes and lifts you up, that's a nightmare. When you fight with someone who is a strong and big guy, strength and size matters. If I say it does not matter, that might make some people feel good, but that's a lie.
I share something that I know and hope some people will find it useful. I love to learn, please feel free to let me know your thoughts in the comment section. So if a guy like this comes and lifts you up, what can you do to defend that?
No matter how strong and big someone is, he has to come close to you in order to grab and lift you up. If the guy comes close to you, you need to control the distance. I have just made a post about Controlling The Distance. In case you have not read that post yet, I highly recommend reading the post.
Don't let him come close to you. If he comes close to you, make the distance between your legs and ground yourself properly. You can grab his hand and place your one hand to his neck. It will make it difficult to grab and lift you up. Don't just get stuck in the position. Make your move, attack and get out of there.
In case somehow he lifts you up, you can use your hands to attack him or you can use your leg to trap his one leg. You can force your strength in one direction. You can try a couple of things to get rid of that. If one thing does not work, make another move.
