Get Up As Soon As You Can If You Fall On The Ground - Self Defense
When you spar with your training partner, and somehow you fall on the ground, or he makes you fall on the ground, you will get the time to get up and fight. Or, even in some fighting competition, your opponent will not hit you if you fall on the ground.
When you fight on the street for self defense, this is not going to happen. First of all, there is no mat on the ground; it's solid and hard. If you fall on the ground, it hurts. The attacker will not stop attacking you. So what can you do in this situation?
When you fall on the ground, stand up as soon as you can. But the thing is, if the attacker starts attacking you instantly, you do not get the chance at the moment to get up. You can lift your head up from the ground and bend your legs. You can kick to the attacker. You can trap his legs and make it difficult to attack you.
If the attacker punches you, you can defend or grab his hands. And try to get up from the ground as soon as you can. You cannot do a lot of things from there. The options are limited.
Maybe you are good at the ground fight. Well, the fight for self defense is not fair. You might face multiple attackers. If you see only one guy is attacking you, don't think he is alone. There are other attackers out there watching everything. If anything goes wrong, they will get in.
Most of the time, if there are multiple attackers, some attackers attack you, and others will watch this. To defend yourself, you need to fight those attackers who are in front of you as well as pay attention to other attackers. You should not focus on a single attacker while fighting multiple attackers. If you do that, there is a high chance you will get hit.
Sometimes things might get worse. Your target is to get out of there. So if you get a chance to get out of there, just run. Don't think you have to stay there and finish the fight. Be aware of your surroundings. It gives you the signal of what to do to defend yourself.
