Sublime beauty in the small details
This is a post, is for Beautiful Sunday hosted by @ace108, and Sublime Sunday, created and hosted by @c0ff33a, I try each week to think of something that may fit both of these challenges and for this week I went looking for smaller details or beauty that is unusual or not noticed, its an idea I have had for a little while for these challenges and have been looking out for shots and have enough now to do this post, not sure how well I achieved my goal, but here goes
Such as these tiny little flowers possibly on a weed or wild plant, I saw while walking around the Beaverbrook trails recently, they were faded away and not much color and small on the side of the trail, I am sure many walk by and barely notice them Looking along the trail and at the big picture, but I thought even without color they were beautiful

Or how about a simple and rusty corner post on a little protective fence around a tree in the city

Next up I have a flower well past its prime drying up and wilting away, perhaps in color it looks plain and boring but take away the color and see the details makes it so much more interesting

Am I making sense so far, or have I lost my marbles, I am not sure which is true ;)
But I will continue on, How about simple water drops on the leaf of a plant

On first look, I thought the 2nd one was a piece of burnt toast.

Yeah I need top take my Macro lens out again soon, it tends to get forgotten in the cooler months

Oh, yes! It is the small things in life, isn't it? I love that you take the time to see them! How many times do you think that rusty spot on the fence is walked by, without any knowledge of the rust?
I love those tiny little things that make it unusual or accentuate it, sometimes even changing how I think about it.

Do you want to know, which photo I love most? That rusty corner post, because it looks so cool, I love the colors and at first I didn't recognize what it is.
Te other photos are great too, especially the water drops on the leaf, where I like it how the light shines through the water, and of course the bokeh behind the handle bar is really nice.

Now that I have a macro lens i plan when the warmer seasons come ot get out with it more, I dont thinkI will use it much over winter, for macros you have to stop and take your time and when its cold out i like to keep moving

I don't mind the cold, but I am very lazy - I have had my macro lens with me when I was in that forest last weekend, but I made the "macros" with my 70-200, because I was too lazy to change lenses.

Macros need time, I know, and if it's too cold I too don't want to stay at one place to long, but next time in the woods I'll take it with me and I will use it, because of the cool ice crystals and the hoar frost :)

Ohh yeah for frost and ice crystals it is ideal, but stay warm as well you dont want to get too cold and become !DERANGED

I think that will be my next project - some cold frozen macros ;)
It is slightly raining and snowing outside - Google says it is named "sleet" in English - so maybe tomorrow will be a fine day for such photos, if the !DERANGED rain does not wash all away.

It has been raining a bit over night and now it is all wet outside. Maybe theres some !DERANGED ice on the streets, but I don't know yet. I'm waiting for my daughter to drive her to school, and then I'll go to get some photos 🙂

I was hoping for a cold and freezing morning, at least I thought there would be some frost in that forest where I wanted to take photos, but it was too !DERANGED warm. There was just a bit snow and dense fog, but no frost. So I have made a few photos and drove home again ;)

Nice photos. I was walking through my mom and dads house yesterday and I noticed he had some cool macro shots framed on the walls. I didn't realize he had done much marco photography. I was going to ask him about it and then I ran out of time. I might bring it up with him again sometime.
Thats cool Macro is something i always mean to do more of but often never get around to maybe next spring and summer i will, in Wnter i like to keep moving LOL
