Sublimely Eclectic on a Beautiful Sunday

Dress it up with a little sunshine today. While the soft, gentle wind blows you all the way through life, let's celebrate the small, sweet moments in between life and living.

Can it be a #BeautifulSunday if all you do it the needful? Cleaning and cooking and tidying the garden? I think so. It gives me great satisfaction knowing that my life is reasonably in order and so, the rest of the week will be smooth sailing.

When memories start to fade, clip them back a bit... then provide food and water to the "cutting" while it is establishing roots.

Today is a perfect day for a perfect day! I've said this before, but, when it is full and unavoidably true, it requires to be said again and again.


You're beautiful. Can't you see?

In that place of love, the one perceived, it matters not, what you believe. The story fits in a layer of truth, in the pages of strength, to give and receive. And then.

I have to wonder

Why logic is no answer for passion and all the while, I wrap my heart with a ribbon of desire.

Today is a #BeautifulSunday by @Ace108, where we share our day in the most possibly beautiful way that we can. So toiling about the house, and the flowers and we can call it a day, a definitely #SublimeSunday in the making, by the Meister of my morning, @c0ff33a. I do love my @c0ff33 and he likes eclectic! A match made in heaven.

A smoothie! Who wants a smoothie? Raise your hand. Raise it high!


I have always loved fruits and vegetables, even juicing them to get the full nutritional value of everything that I grow, pick or buy. Waste not, want not, am I right? It was in juicing that I learned I could eat the skin of the kiwi. Who knew? Not this girl. This nutrient-packed delight is already on the good deal list of fruits. But, did you realize that by eating the skin, you triple your fiber intake? But, hey! If you peel it, you still get a healthy dose of vitamin C, vitamin K, vitamin E, folate, and potassium. You are welcome. Very. Admittedly, it is a cleaning-cooking-getting- ready-for-the-next-week-kind-of-day. Le sigh. Truly.



And just because this is so eclectic (It's true!!) we are going to do a refrigerator check! Okay... you know the drill!!! Open up wide and take a picture! That always keeps me honest on the junk I put in it. I just finished shopping the other day, so it has awesome yumminess still inside!

I always post this poem down at the bottom of my posts. It is one that has become so near and dear to my heart. I only post the most famous part of it, but, wanted to post it in its entirety today.

they set my aunts house on fire
i cried the way women on tv do
folding at the middle
like a five pound note.
i called the boy who use to love me
tried to ‘okay’ my voice
i said hello
he said warsan, what’s wrong, what’s happened?

i’ve been praying,
and these are what my prayers look like;
dear god
i come from two countries
one is thirsty
the other is on fire
both need water.

later that night
i held an atlas in my lap
ran my fingers across the whole world
and whispered,
"where does it hurt?"
it answered,

"everywhere"
"everywhere"
"everywhere"

I was up late last night (read: early morning) until I finished so that it wouldn't drag over into next week. I love reading them all and people really put out a lot of effort putting together these posts. (as you know from firsthand experience)

Oh, yes! The fresh fruit is surely so tempting for a smoothie, isn't it? Coming right up!!!

There are many who do not read all of peoples post but I know you do and respond with thought and kindness, so I know how time consuming it must be going through all the Market Friday posts but i also know that people really appreciate your thoughtful comments so it is time well spent

Funny enough, it is not only MarketFriday, but, posts in general. It is embarrassing to have people come over all the time and not have the time to go over and read theirs. It is almost insulting, in my opinion.

So, I am trying to get around a little more, but, it is another really busy week. Boo-hoo.

Don't they know I need to steem??? ;)

The refrigerator is a no-brainer because I use the containers from BJs to put things in and keep it organized. Then they stack nicely. Try It, You'll see how easy it is! Oh, don't be so jealous. It took me years to figure out that I did better if I organized it. Less waste and more vision to see what I have inside. My family was pretty messy until I started keeping it in containers and then they were forced to keep it organized.

Oh my God! Well you know that I'm jealous now! Dragon fruit is so delicious and it's very hard to come by here. Well at times it is I should say.

Isn't it so true though? Sometimes we forget to be grateful for what we have without a grateful heart, what do we really have? I think that everybody would be happier if they were doing the things that they love instead of doing the things that they must. My Sunday was beautiful and I hope that yours was too. You know my first wife kicked me out because i was to neat and tidy she couldn't handle it...lol...they use to complement her for having such a tidy house in and out but it was all me my mum taught me well...hehe :)

Ooh the sunflower is stunning, I wish it was sunny like that right now. And the yellow and orange flower looks like it is on fire - stunning! I have heard @old-guy-photos is a bit of a smoothie but I could be a rumour. No fridge shots I’m afraid, mine is full of bacon, chicken a hint of salad and many drinks - apple juice, a hint of soda and maybe a few Budweiser for when the sun is shining !COFFEEA
