Oww...pretty shoes...pain

Week 3 of the Getting Fit for SteemFest wish Actifit and Blocktrades! Here I am at 11 pm working hard to get my entry in today. Usually I get it in at the last minute which is Sunday night but today I knew that I had a good chance because my sisters are back visiting home one from the UK and the other from Singapore! Why you say? What to do girls to best when we are together? SHOP, EAT, TALK of course! Today we decided to visit Genting Premium Outlets in Genting because my sister and her family from the UK had not been there before. Plus who really needs an excuse to get out of the hot weather and into the cool mid 20 degrees Celsius??

I love the view from here. That cafe is just perfectly situated for a cuppa!

I woke up really early this morning at about 6 am as Hubby got his 15,000 steps at the park because of his workmates. Something about going for a conference in Singapore and getting some hype up. I stayed home because little Murtabak was really sick. (His turn as his brother was really sick the previous week) Made half boiled eggs and a cup of Nespresso coffee. I enjoyed a little quiet before they both woke up and we had to get ready to get going. Since it was my birthday weekend, I decided to dress up a little. I knew I was going to be walking quite a bit but I thought that my shiny pretty shoes would be quite alright. After all, they were high but flat platform shoes. (Check out my thumbnail picture, pretty huh? I like them very much too)

Nothing make sense before coffee

We met up with my sisters at one of the petrol stations along the highway and we were off! The traffic jam was horrendous along the MRR2 and the cause of it was a broken down car. After that it was quite smooth sailing but we only reached there at about 2 pm. All of us were ravenously hungry and therefore our first port of stop was the food court! My older sister didn't really want to eat as she had quite a big breakfast hence she took off to an early (shopping) start whilst we were chowing down our food. Once our bellies were filled we started window shopping and looking for my older sister as she didn't have a phone with her. After quite a bit of searching we finally found her and for the men...the waiting begins...LOL

I snuck up on my brother-in-law and nephews to get this shot!

We all laughed about the picture I took of them and then took a selfie to show my sister that we were all waiting for her!

I continued to walk around and little Murtabak seemed to have picked up some energy when we decided to visit the little playground there. Then I was pushing the stroller with him sleeping in it as Hubby want to find a pair of running shoes. After a couple of hours of walking I started to realise that my legs and feet were hurting! So much for looking good, I really wished I had my running shoes on! I was ready to throw my shiny shoes in the bag and go buy a pair of new shoes. (Psst...good excuse huh to buy new shoes??!) Anyway, I was also starting to feel tired and wasn't really in the mood to try on shoes. So I sat down outside the shops and waited while Murtabak continued on his train ride to La-La sleep land.

I was sitting outside the shop and feeling the total opposite of that ad! I didn't want to go anywhere!

After we finished with all the sports shoe shops and I mean all the sport shoe shop, our Chapati (older son) asked his Dad if we could get ice cream! Yes! So off we went to Family Mart and we got a green tea ice cream and a cup of brown sugar bubble milk drink! The pearls in the drink was yummy, next time I will remember to take a photo.

On the way to ice cream, look at that cheeky smile!

After we finished our snacks we chanced upon an interesting shop called Mievic. The store is pretty much like Yubiso/Miniso/Daiso...kind of concept. I loved it though! It had all the girly stuff and I spent a lot of time there. Yup all the aches and pains not gone but forgotten! LOL!! I am thinking that I might just do a separate post reviewing the stuff there! It was about 6.30 pm and it was time to go home. We were all tired. The children were especially exhousted because they missed their afternoon rest time and nap. The minute we got into the car, all my aches and pains came back and the kids were fast asleep sooner than you can say sleep! We dropped by McDonalds to get some nuggets and fries for the kiddos (Bad Mama and Papa...) stopped by the shops for Hubs to settle stuff and then it was home sweet home.

Cool shop!

Thanks to @actifit and @blocktrades for sponsoring a ticket + accommodation for this contest. If you want to get in on it check out the post by @anomadsoul! I hope you peeps out there are also making plans to go to SteemFest this year!

Now I am off to do a little stretching and boy do my lower back and legs need elevation. This will really teach me a lesson. Since I plan to make the step count tomorrow as well, running shoes it is for me!

Night everyone!

Xoxo,
Khim

Made sure that I tweeted it too!
