Referee Stats / @actifit
The referee system is both liked and disliked on SportsTalkSocial. Some say it's necessary to moderate the Tribe, and others would rather let the community decide. As we have seen on Steem, very few members of the community will balance rewards and it has mainly been up to the ex-bidbots to provide downvotes to content.
The Tribes however don't have an array of ex-bidbots, they have a noTOKEN4u account, the community, and with sports, a team of referees. The current system has been brought into place by the SportsTalkSocial management by way of selecting accounts that showed they were willing to call out abuse in it's various guises. The new system is going to put the referee selection process back into the communities hands, and I hear it is coming soon.
For now though, we have 9 referees currently moderating the content on SportsTalkSocial, and here are a few charts showing what they have been doing.
Initially, there were only 4 referees (1-4), and so it is surprising to see referee 2 with very few downvotes overall, and also surprising to see so many downvotes from referees 5 and 6.
September was a busy month, and hopefully October wont be the same as the accounts that received downvotes have taken them as a reason to change their approach to the tribe.
When the new system arrives, all community members will be asked to vote for an account they would like to see as a referee. Hopefully those votes land in the right places.
Football Manager
The season ended with a Champions League win, but i'm still disappointed with the FA Cup defeat to Liverpool. I'm looking to buy a player or two during the transfer window, but haven't found anyone up to scratch yet.
Premier League
Manchester United lost again, and have to suffer down in the bottom half of the table for another week at least as there are no games this weekend - I hate shitty international breaks!
Actifit
Exercise today was 2 walks to work and back, and a trip to the supermarket this evening. Surprising that this totals 10 km - not bad from someone with an office job.

Personally knowing the refs will be a lot easier for everyone as they were voted in and should be fair. I think things will calm down as the abuse isn't as bad as it was a month ago. There will always be someone trying their luck and the community needs to act as the referees can only do so much.
Yeah I hope it's a positive thing and seen as more fair. There will always be work to do, and hopefully there are members of the community willing to chip in.
Dang, the lag is borking stuff, Yes I hope it's a positive thing as well. I sure hope it's fair and not based on who is the richest or whatever. If people want things less or more hamfisted they can now be accountable how that goes
I agree knowing who they are will be much better. It'll also be easier to tell if someone is somehow abusing there position.
I agree the community should have a say but if it's stake based like some rumors I heard then think that is muy mal.
The election will hopefully allow my version of a popcorn leaver prove both effective and great. Hopefully it doesn't turn into something so hamfisted or something that is a clique. People wanna pick then heck yeah, who doesn't wanna be tasked with such a fun job? ;)
If it’s not stake-based then I’ll have to get my 3000 alts involved 😛. I don’t know if it will be or not, but it’s seems the choice is clique or alt-abuse?
If it does go stake-based then be sure to accidentally power-up those 4.7m sports your man is sitting on 😬

I’m just generally nice, a bit dim, but mostly friendly. It’s an interesting approach to hold so much liquid with all this inflation and bs, rumours have it that the decimal places will be be tested with SPORTS 🤪
Glad you think it's interesting, I have enough staked to give good upvotes and don't see the need to stake anything but slowly given the climate of stuff and things and if and when smt's come and Voice.
Yeah, totally up to you. My approach is stake some sell some, downvote with 13k a day.

NOOOOOO not more voting and committees. Just post a daily list of agreed dodgy players each day and everyone else just whacks em! Simple
that would be the simplest and least drama but that will never happen because of "reasons"
yeah can't wait for the upcoming shi*tshow to say the least, Personally, I think the replay section and having people read the guidelines and adult is enough besides babysitting , a lot of the crap has really lowered because of early whacking so what's the point.
Pretty sure most on here can govern themselves at this point and work it out in replay type rooms and then burn the millions of sports to null to make the damn price go up. How about see which ones will do the job free and burn what they would have made for inflation. Then see who really cares about the platform without pushing any type of personal clique , make more then some already do or be draconian if you mislabel something ^^^^^^^^^^ :)
we can govern ourselves and call out rings and burn millions for the benefit of the price and not giving more money to a lot on the rich list which includes myself, meh..... If I have to "run "for a community who imho is ready to have the training wheels taken off then see how many millions are wasted on stuff already aware of.
I truly agree with this than referees. I've been receiving reports same thing happening in Sportstalk and no matter how much they do in refereeing abuse, I can't trust people I don't know.
With over a trillion tokens that are a more serious issue at this point then some real rampant abuse that was going down out of the gates then why is burning tokens not at the forefront but making sure we can have ref elections is?

Election is also a good thing but I think the best way is to let people report and reveal the abusers like @abh12345.sports / @cryptoandcoffee do. They normally make a post revealing abusers in this platform and we'll do chip in.

Yeah there are more users reporting abusers, kinda missed the "etc".
It's good to be a ref though but its a risky part of our individual journey. So I think the revealing the name post will be the best thing.
I can't do that daily though, and cover anything close to the days content. We need eyes, lots of eyes.

I do daily bounties for plagiarized content. Users can downvote the bounty, screenshot the amount they downvoted, post a comment on my post with the image and I will upvote their comment for that much.
