My route to La Vereda del Lago
Por lo general mis mañanas suelen ser muy movidas, así le saco un buen provecho a mi contador de pasos, ya que los especialistas recomiendan un mínimo de 10.000 pasos diarios. Y con lo que a completo mis pasos en el día es mi ruta a La Vereda, caminando me queda a unos 20min y con Actifit pude calcular de ida unos 4.400 pasos. De mi casa hasta la Vereda son casi 2Km un buen trayecto para caminar y llegar un poco caliente para hacer estiramientos.
Ya con mi bolso listo, termo lleno de agua y audífonos con música de mi agrado estoy lista para salir. Como verán en las fotos un trayecto largo. (De camino pude ver un gallo que se estuvo peleando con otro). Mi parte favorita, la bajada de Pichincha desde ella se puede apreciar un poco el lago y de allí todo es bajada hasta llegar a la entrada sur de La Vereda del Lago, pero aún no he llegado a mi destino, hay que adentrarnos hasta por fin llegar a las barras donde mientras esperaba a mis compañeros de Fortis Workout, estiré un poco y realicé un poco de parada de mano con apoyo, para poco a poco ir fortaleciendo mis brazos y luego lograrla sin apoyo y con una técnica pulida.

My mornings are usually very busy, so I get a good use of my step counter, as specialists recommend a minimum of 10,000 steps per day. And what completes my steps in the day is my route to La Vereda, walking is about 20 minutes away and with Actifit I could calculate about 4,400 steps one way. From my house to La Vereda is almost 2Km, a good distance to walk and arrive a little bit warm to stretch.
With my bag ready, thermos full of water and headphones with music of my liking I'm ready to go. As you can see in the pictures, it was a long walk (on the way I could see a rooster fighting with another one). My favorite part, the descent of Pichincha from there you can see a little of the lake and from there everything is downhill until you reach the south entrance of La Vereda del Lago, but I have not yet reached my destination, we have to go deep until finally reach the bars where while waiting for my colleagues of Fortis Workout, I stretched a little and did a little handstand with support, to gradually strengthen my arms and then achieve it without support and with a polished technique.

Muchas gracias, Manuel! Me encanta saber que son de su agrado. Y si, usualmente caminos largos trayectos, muchos manejan en bici para llegar hasta allá. Eso habla mucho de lo determinados que podemos ser los seres humanos cuando nos proponemos metas.
