My Actifit Report Card: April 10 2025

¡Hey! ¿Cómo están, amigos de Actifit? Espero que todos estén muy bien en el día de hoy. Bien, chicos, en el reporte del día de hoy va a ser algo muy importante y diferente, ya que hoy me tocó ir a los tribunales de San Juan de los Morros. Un día bastante importante, ya que como estudiantes de la carrera de Derecho, debemos ver la práctica, cómo es realmente ejercer como abogados. La cita era a partir de las 8:40 a.m., así que por mi parte decidí poner la alarma a las 4:30 a.m. para descansar media hora.
Hey, how are you, friends of Actifit? I hope you are all very well today. Well, guys, today's report is going to be something very important and different, because today I had to go to the courts of San Juan de los Morros. A very important day, because as law students, we have to see the practice, what it is really like to practice as lawyers. The appointment was from 8:40 a.m., so I decided to set my alarm for 4:30 a.m. to rest for half an hour.

Por el lado del desayuno, estaba listo, ya que ayer había comprado pan para solo echarle el relleno, calentarlo un poco y luego guardarlo en el bolso. Lo que tenía que hacer realmente era el almuerzo; lo que cociné fue arroz con chuleta de cerdo. Algo muy rico. Ya eran las 5:20 a.m. cuando terminé de desayunar, así que me fui a bañar y arreglarme para salir a las 6:00 a.m. al terminal. Ya estaba todo listo y salí de mi casa; había quedado de acuerdo con una compañera de estudio para vernos a las 6:30 a.m., para estar llegando a San Juan a las 7:40 máximo 8:00 a.m.
On the breakfast side, I was ready, as I had bought bread yesterday to just throw in the stuffing, warm it up a bit and then put it in the bag. What I really had to do was lunch; what I cooked was rice with pork chop. Very tasty stuff. It was already 5:20 a.m. when I finished breakfast, so I went to shower and get ready to leave at 6:00 a.m. for the terminal. Everything was ready and I left my house; I had arranged with a fellow student to meet at 6:30 a.m., to arrive in San Juan at 7:40 a.m. at the latest at 8:00 a.m.

Al llegar al terminal, ella estaba esperándome, así que decidimos montarnos en el bus hacia San Juan. Mientras íbamos de camino, yo me dormí durante todo el viaje. Llegamos a la hora que habíamos calculado; mi novia había llegado primero al terminal que nosotros, así que estaba afuera esperándonos. Luego de saludarnos, nos fuimos directamente a los tribunales. Llegamos a buena hora, a las 8:20 a.m., 20 minutos antes de la audiencia.
When we arrived at the terminal, she was waiting for me, so we decided to get on the bus to San Juan. On the way there, I slept through the whole trip. We arrived at the time we had calculated; my girlfriend had arrived at the terminal before us, so she was outside waiting for us. After greeting each other, we went straight to the courthouse. We arrived at a good time, at 8:20 a.m., 20 minutes before the hearing.

Ya era momento de entrar, así que tocaba apagar los teléfonos; no se podía interrumpir ni podían sonar las notificaciones para evitar distracciones. Vimos cómo se tenía que hacer una demanda, sus requisitos y presenciamos un juicio oral real. Nos explicaron mucho más sobre cómo debemos trabajar en el tribunal; luego finalizó a eso de las 12:00 p.m. Como grupo nos tomamos fotografías para tenerlo de recuerdo. Nos despedimos cada uno del grupo; mi novia, Nore, y yo fuimos a comer unos dulces en el restaurante Churro Express. Comimos bomba y rol de canela junto a un Nestea. Estuvimos hablando un buen rato hasta que llegó la hora de agarrar el autobús para nuestras casas; fue un excelente día que tendré en el corazón. ¡Hasta aquí el reporte del día de hoy, chicos!
It was time to go in, so it was time to turn off the phones; no interruptions and no notifications could ring to avoid distractions. We saw how a lawsuit had to be made, its requirements and witnessed a real oral trial. They explained a lot more about how we should work in court, and then it ended at around 12:00 p.m. As a group we took pictures as a souvenir. We said goodbye to each other as a group; my girlfriend, Nore, and I went to eat some sweets at the Churro Express restaurant. We ate bomba and cinnamon roll along with a Nestea. We talked for a while until it was time to catch the bus home; it was a great day that I'll keep in my heart. So much for today's report, guys!
