New Zealand won the toss and invited England to bat first, England batted first, started the inning very brilliantly, Harry Brook and Dawid Malan came to start the inning and gave a brilliant start with a half-century partnership of 80 runs for the first wicket, the first wicket has dismissed for 80 runs in last ball of the 15th over, Dawid Malan dismissed after playing a brilliant half-century inning of 54 runs with the help of 9 boundaires in 53 balls, next batsman Joe Root came to bat, meanwhile the second wicket also dismissed for 80 runs in 15.4 over, Harry Brook dismissed after scoring 25 runs with the help of 2 boudaries in 41 balls, next batsman Ben Stokes came to bat and handled the inning, the third wicket has dismissed for 101 runs in 20.2 over, Joe Root dismissed just for 6 runs in 15 balls, followed by Jos Buttler came to bat handled the inning and played a very brilliant half-century partnership of 88 runs with Ben Stokes, the fourth wicket has dismissed for 189 runs in 37.4 over, Ben Stokes dismissed after playing a brilliant half-century inning of 52 runs with the help of 1 six and 3 boudaires in 69 balls, next batsman Liam Livingstone came to bat handled the inning and played a brilliant half-century partnership of 77 runs with Jos Buttler, the fifth wicket has dismissed for 266 runs in 47.2 over, Liam Livingstone dismissed after playing a brilliant half-century inning of 52 runs with the help of 3 sixes and 3 boundaries in just 40 balls, followed by Chris Woakes came to bat, meanwhile the sixth wicket also dismissed for 267 runs in 47.4 over, Jos Buttler dismissed after playing a very brilliant half-century inning of 72 runs with the help of 2 sixes and 5 boundaries in 68 balls, next batsman David Willey came to bat and he played a brilliant quick unbeaten inning of 21 runs with the help of 1 six and 2 boundaries in just 11 balls with Chris Woakes, and Chris Woakes was remains unbeaten for 4 runs in 4 balls. In this way, England scored 291 runs after losing 6 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs and set a target of 292 runs for New Zealand.

In this way, New Zealand chased the target very easily for losing just 2 wickets in 45.4 overs and won the match by 8 wickets.
