The 4th T20I Match of the Australia tour of India, 2023 was played at Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium, Raipur. In which India beat Australia by 20 runs to seal the series by 3-1.
TOSS- Australia won the toss and opted to bowl.
India Innings- India batted first and started the inning very brilliantly, Rinku Singh played a very brilliant quick inning of 46 runs with the help of 2 sixes and 4 boundaries in just 29 balls, and Jitesh Sharma played a very brilliant quick inning of 35 runs with the help of 3 sixes and 1 boundary in just 19 balls, Yashasvi Jaiswal scored 37 runs with the help of 1 six and 6 boundaries in just 28 balls, Ruturaj Gaikwad scored 32 runs with the help of 1 six and 3 boundaries in just 28 balls, apart from this, Shreyas Iyer dismissed just for 8 runs in 7 balls, Suryakumar Yadav 1 run in 2 balls, Ravi Bishnoi 4 runs in 3 balls, Axar Patel and Deepak Chahar dismissed without scoring, and Avesh Khan remains unbeaten for 1 run in 1 ball. In this way, India scored 174 runs after losing 9 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs and set a target of 175 runs in front of Australia.
Australian bowlers- Ben Dwarshuis took 3 wickets for 40 runs in his spell, Tanveer Sangha 2 wickets just for 30 runs in his spell, Jason Behrendorff 2 wickets just for 32 runs in his spell, Aaron Hardie 1 wicket for 20 runs in 3 overs, Chris Green was wicketless for 36 runs in his spell, and Matthew Short also wicketless for 10 runs in 1 over.
Australia Inning- Australia chasing 175 runs in the second inning they could manage just 154 runs after losing 7 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs and lost the match by 20 runs. Australia also started the inning very well, but the ending was very poor, Matthew Wade played an unbeaten inning of 36 runs with the help of 2 sixes and 2 boundaries in just 23 balls, and Travis Head played a brilliant quick inning of 31 runs with the help of 1 six and 5 boundaries in just 16 balls, Matthew Short scored 22 runs in 19 balls, Tim David 19 runs in 20 balls, Ben McDermott 19 runs in 22 balls, apart from this, Josh Philippe dismissed just for 8 runs in 7 balls, Aaron Hardie 8 runs in 9 balls, Ben Dwarshuis 1 run in 2 balls, and Chris Green remained unbeaten for 2 runs in 3 balls. In this way, Australia could manage just 154 runs after losing just 7 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs and lost the match by 20 runs, and with this loss, Australia also lost the series.
Indian bowlers- Axar Patel took 3 wickets just for 16 runs in his spell, Deepak Chahar 2 wickets for 44 runs in his spell, Ravi Bishnoi 1 wicket for 16 runs in his spell, Avesh Khan 1 wicket for 33 runs in his spell, and Mukesh Kumar was wicketless for 42 runs in his spell.
PLAYER OF THE MATCH- Indian bowler Axar Patel was selected as the player of the match, he performed very brilliant bowling took 3 wickets just for 16 runs in his spell.
