Walking around El Recreo Shopping Mall

Every time I visit Caracas, I take the opportunity to visit the different shopping malls that we find in this city, because in them we can find multiple products and services that are scarce in my hometown, also I must confess that I really like to enjoy in first person that modernity, the lights and the amplitude of spaces that are perfectly designed for trade and finally for consumption.

Cada vez que visito Caracas, aprovecho la oportunidad para recorrer los distintos centros comerciales que encontramos en esta ciudad, ya que en ellos podemos encontrar múltiples productos y servicios que escasean en mi ciudad de origen, además debo confesarles que me gusta mucho disfrutar en primera persona de esa modernidad, las luces y la amplitud de unos espacios que se encuentran perfectamente diseñados para el comercio y finalmente para el consumo.

In the shopping malls of the capital we can find really everything, from clothing stores to bank offices, most of them have many levels and many square meters of construction, so that, to go through them completely is a truly demanding task, both in time and effort, because in each window you stop to admire the products and also check their prices, this with the purpose and hope of finding something that is necessary, economical and at the same time somewhat exclusive.

En los centros comerciales de la capital podemos encontrar realmente de todo, desde tiendas de ropa, hasta oficinas bancarias, la mayoría cuentan con muchos niveles y bastantes metros cuadrados de construcción, por lo cual, recorrerlos por completo es una tarea verdaderamente demandante, tanto en tiempo como en esfuerzo, ya que en cada vitrina uno se detiene para admirar los productos y verificar también sus precios, esto con la finalidad y la esperanza de encontrar algo que sea necesario, económico y al mismo tiempo un tanto exclusivo.

But sometimes a visit to the mall is also done simply to walk and stroll, a different moment, eat a snack or just hang out. It was precisely the latter option that I applied today, since I had an appointment scheduled for 12 noon, but thanks to a logistical miscalculation I arrived about two hours earlier, so I had no choice but to wait for the doors of the El Recreo Mall to open and I set out to walk through its facilities, which by that time in the morning were lonely, so I could enjoy my tour to the fullest, since there were no people interrupting my passage or blocking the angle of the photographs.

Pero a veces también una visita al centro comercial se realiza simplemente para caminar y pasear, un momento diferente, comer alguna merienda o sencillamente pasar el rato. Fue justamente esta última opción la que apliqué el día de hoy, ya que tenía una cita pautada para las 12 del mediodía, pero gracias a un mal cálculo logístico llegué aproximadamente dos horas antes, por eso, no me quedó otra opción que esperar a que abrieran las puertas del Centro Comercial El Recreo y me dispuse a caminar por sus instalaciones, las cuales para esa hora de la mañana se encontraban solitarias, con lo cual puede disfrutar de mi recorrido a plenitud, ya que no había personas que interrumpieran mi paso ni que bloquearan el ángulo de las fotografías.
