En lugar de eso, opté por enfocarme en una de las cosas que más disfruto hacer: el pino, o parada de manos, como muchos lo conocen.

community, Today I want to share with you a little photo shoot of my handstand training. It wasn't a very intense day, as I was a bit tired and decided not to push my body too much. Instead, I chose to focus on one of the things I enjoy doing the most: the handstand, or handstand as many know it.

Este ejercicio, más allá de ser una demostración de fuerza y equilibrio, es un reflejo de paciencia, control y disciplina. Recuerdo cuando apenas comenzaba a intentarlo y parecía imposible sostenerme en el aire por más de un segundo. Fueron meses de intentos fallidos, caídas y frustraciones, pero también de pequeños avances que, con el tiempo, se convirtieron en estabilidad, confianza y fluidez en el movimiento.
This exercise, beyond being a demonstration of strength and balance, is a reflection of patience, control and discipline. I remember when I was just starting to try it and it seemed impossible to stay in the air for more than a second. There were months of failed attempts, falls and frustrations, but also of small advances that, over time, became stability, confidence and fluidity in movement.

El pino es un ejercicio que exige total concentración y conexión con tu cuerpo. Cada ajuste, cada corrección y cada respiración cuentan. No es solo cuestión de fuerza en los hombros o control en el core, sino de aprender a confiar en ti mismo, en tu equilibrio y en tu capacidad de adaptación. Hoy, aunque ya lo tengo dominado, cada vez que me pongo en posición, sigue siendo una experiencia única. Es un momento en el que desconecto de todo y solo me concentro en mantener el control, en disfrutar el movimiento y en seguir perfeccionándolo.
Handstand is an exercise that requires total concentration and connection with your body. Every adjustment, every correction, and every breath counts. It’s not just about shoulder strength or core control, but about learning to trust yourself, your balance, and your ability to adapt. Today, even though I’ve mastered it, every time I get into position, it’s still a unique experience. It’s a moment when I disconnect from everything and just focus on maintaining control, enjoying the movement, and continuing to perfect it.
