Al-Qur'an - Surah No. 2 Al-Baqarah
Verse number 69

I seek refuge in God from Satan
In the name of Allah, the Merciful

They said, "Supplicate for us, your Lord, and show us what we have."

Translation:

They said, for our sake, request your Lord to tell us clearly what color it should be. Moses said, "Allah says that she should be a bright yellow cow that will delight the eyes of those who see her." Maulana Fateh Muhammad Jalandhari They said, "Pray to Allah to tell us what her color is." Moses said, " He said, "My Lord says that its color should be deep yellow, pleasing to the beholders."

آیت نمبر 69

أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ
بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ

قَالُوا ادۡعُ لَنَا رَبَّكَ يُبَيِّنۡ لَّنَا مَا لَوۡنُهَا ‌ؕ قَالَ اِنَّهٗ يَقُوۡلُ اِنَّهَا بَقَرَةٌ صَفۡرَآءُۙ فَاقِعٌ لَّوۡنُهَا تَسُرُّ النّٰظِرِيۡنَ ۞

ترجمہ:

کہنے لگے آپ ہماری خاطر اپنے رب سے درخواست کیجئے کہ ہمیں صاف صاف بتائے کہ اس کا رنگ کیسا ہو ؟ موسیٰ نے کہا اللہ فرماتا ہے کہ وہ ایسے تیز زرد رنگ کی گائے ہو جو دیکھنے والوں کا دل خوش کردے۔

انہوں نے کہا کہ پروردگار سے درخواست کیجئے کہ ہم کو یہ بھی بتائے کہ اس کا رنگ کیسا ہو۔ موسیٰ نے کہا، پروردگار فرماتا ہے کہ اس کا رنگ گہرا زرد ہو کہ دیکھنے والوں (کے دل) کو خوش کر دیتا ہو
