The 2023 Ballon d'Or will be the 67th annual ceremony of the Ballon d'Or. The ceremony organized by France Football magazine, is to recognise the best footballers in the world during the 2022–23 season. It had been an incredible year of top notch performance by the players.

The shortlist for the 2023 ballon D'Or prize has been announced featuring 30 footballers in the male category.Some of the world's best footballers are among the nominees to succeed 2022 winner Karim Benzema in lifting the Golden Ball in Paris, the event schedule to hold on October 30.

So far in the Ballon d'Or 2023 Power Rankings, Lionel Messi is set to pip Erling Haaland to eighth Golden Ball as France Football reveals full list of nominees. This year's award will be a unique Ballon d'Or battle. This is because the World Cup took place in the middle of the 2022-23 campaign.
