Worst Premier League Players of All Time

Among the worst Premier League players of all time are overpaid players, a teacher’s pet and even a fraudster. Let’s take a look at the ten worst EPL players in history.

10. Claude Davis (Sheffield United, Derby)

It's no surprise that Claude Davis was part of the team that tops the list of worst teams in Premier League history. Davis was bought for £3m from Sheffield United with the aim of strengthening the defence for the newly promoted Derby County. He was never a Premier League level defender. "Calamity Claude" played in 19 games for a Derby side that managed 11 points.

Your club's WORST player... ever!

9. Winston Bogarde (Chelsea)

In four years at Chelsea, centre-back Winston Bogarde earned £10m for his 11 games for the club. Despite the clubs best efforts to force a move he stubbornly stayed and collected his cheques. Even Bogarde himself shamelessly said he is one of the worse buys in Premier League history.

Winston Bogarde is 48 today. Four years, £10m wages, 12 games. A man who believed in a light day’s work for a fucking massive day’s pay:

8. Andrea Silenzi (Nottingham Forest)

Centre forward Andrea Silenzi was the first Italian to join the English Premier League signing for £1.8m in 1995. Despite scoring goals in Serie A, he was slow, had a heavy touch and had a complete lack of technical ability. He was loaned back out to Italy and never came back.

7. Bebe (Manchester United)

Bebe is one of the worst premier league players of all time. Surprisingly it was under Sir Alex Ferguson who broke his own rules after signing him unseen. It was a remarkable rise for the Portuguese forward who grew up in an orphange. He made seven appearances in his first season but was never up for Premier League football.

10 years ago today, Sir Alex Ferguson broke his own rule by signing a player he'd never watched.

Bebe is very surprsing. Never thought that Sir Alex would have such a bad palyer signed. But I gues everyone is able to do mistakes. The real mastery is not to do them again :D

Cool idea for post yet again :)

To his defence it was one of his coaches that recommended him but SAF allowed it to happen. I'm sure it can be overlooked when you consider everything else SAF did for Man Utd

It is Bograde honesty for me...it seems my club has a habit of buying some worse players...Great in their previous clubs and extremely bad at Chelsea..

Oh tell me about it. Lukaku pains me greatly. I'm a huge fan of Tammy Abraham and I feel like we'll just be buying him back from Roma again. Thankfully we have a clause to buy him back, but again it'll be at a net loss of 30m pounds or something like that

I actually wanted Tammy to leave the club then...he W not fitting the way i had hoped for....Lukaku only had a dream, he is not ready to prove it...It is time we get someone to call a striker...Since Drogba and Coasta, we have not seen a better player.....

Our lack of creativity is a very big issue too, no great winger in the team and yet we expect so much from the striker

Yes. I am currently in the process of outsourcing other parts of my media business to buy back some more time so I can spend it on here.

Surprised Ferguson made this transfer, he should have kicked him out the next season 😅

Hahaha Bebe! I can never forget this guy. Just huge for nothing hahaha. Sir Alex Ferguson claimed he never watched him play and he took a gamble on him which we can see didn't work out. I watched the charity match where Beckham gave him a clear heading opportunity with a brilliant cross but he headed over the bar. Even Beckham had to shake his head. Oh...when I remember Bebe I can call myself a decent player.
