The Best NBA Players Right Now (Part 2)
G'day tribe. We kicked off the series featuring DeMar Derozan, Chris Paul and Steph Curry. You can check it out in my most recent posts. Let's take a look at the next best players in the NBA right now.
7. Ja Morant
The 2020 Rookie of the Year Ja Morant exploded into superstardom in his third year becoming an All-Star starter for the first time. Morant showed he's much more than just a terrifyingly athletic phenom. He transformed the Grizzlies into genuine playoff contenders.
Ja Morant delivers unworldly highlights that pushes the limitations of what the human body can achieve. He's one of the best NBA players right now and could play himself into genuine MVP contention in the years ahead.
6. Jayson Tatum
Jayson Tatum is a basketballer with rare ability. He's got superstar scoring ability and a well-rounded defensive game. He averaged MVP-like stats in a season which Boston reached the 2022 NBA Finals.
Tatum didn't perform well in the NBA Finals but he's the reason why the Celtics had the opportunity to fight for the championship in the first place. The most frightening thing for opposition teams is that he's one of the best NBA players right now and only turned 24 in early 2022.

5. Luka Doncic
Luka Doncic is one of the best NBA players right now and he'll win an MVP award with ease if he can maintain a level of consistency throughout an entire season. He's next to impossible to contain with a complete offensive skill set, and he continues to develop on the defensive end.
Doncic is already one of the best scorers, best passers and he has a basketball IQ that is beyond belief for a player that turned 23 in 2022. As the Mavericks place more talent around Doncic he'll quickly become the front runner for MVP.
4. Devin Booker
Devin Booker has exploded into a genuine NBA superstar who has helped transform the Suns into the best team in the NBA .. well, in the regular season anyway. Booker is one of the best NBA players right now and the best shooting guard in the league.
He finished the 2021-22 season with career highs in points and rebounding, and he's beginning to guard like an All-Defensive contender. For those that miss Kobe Byrant, Booker's got near-identical isolation moves. He's also one of the best shot creaters and movers off the ball in the NBA.

The best thing about Mitchell is how he plays with contact. He always get himself 3 point plays opportunity.
He has also improved in defense, he sucked before.
Yes Mitchell reminds me of James Harden and Dwayne Wade. Glad that he's getting better on defense, I think he's got a bright future.

Personally I love Ja, one of my favourites. Reminds me of Derrick Rose without the injuries (so far)
I would take Luka! He is such a unique talent, he's hard to stop! Fundamentally sound, good finesse, still getting stronger. There's a lot of talent these days in the league though! Hard to really choose!
