The 10 Worst NBA Teams of All-Time

This is one list NBA teams don't want to be on, the worst NBA teams of all-time. Michael Jordan is one of the best players and a part of one of the greatest teams of all-time, but he's also connected with one of the teams on this list. Let's takes a look at the worst 10 teams in history:

10. 2015-16 Philadelphia 76ers

Record: 10-72
Winning percentage: 12.2%

The 2015-16 Sixers was one of 'The Process' seasons; the rebuilding phase of the franchise which spanned four seasons of tanking in the hope of drafting franchise players. So it's no surprise that this team was young and inexperienced. Only Elton Brand, Ish Smith and Carl Landry had at least five years experience.

Rookie Jahlil Okafor was their best player for the season was after being drafted with the third pick of the 2015 NBA draft. He averaged 17.5 points and 7.0 rebounds through 53 games, but would only play another five season in the NBA. He's now considered one of the biggest draft busts in recent history. As a result of one of the worst seasons in NBA history, the Sixers got Ben Simmons from the 2016 draft. We now know how that's ended up.

9. 1995-96 Vancouver Grizzlies

Record: 15-67
Winning percentage: 18.3%

The Grizzlies can be excused for one of the worst NBA teams ever as it was during their inaugural year. An expansion draft was held about five months before Toronto and Vancouver played their first games. Out of the eight players Vancouver picked, only two of them would play more than one season with the franchise.

Four days after the expansion the Grizzlies used the 6th pick of the 1995 NBA Draft on Bryant Reeves. Vancouver left Jerry Stackhouse, Rasheed Wallace and Kevin Garnett on the board. Reeves developed weight problems and chronic back injuries, retiring after his $64 million, 6-year contract expired. He never became an All-Star and averaged less than 10-points a game. The Grizzlies relocated to Memphis in 2001, unable to build a competitive roster in Vancouver.

8. 2004-05 Atlanta Hawks

Record: 13-69
Winning percentage: 15.9%

The 2004-05 Hawks were horrible at both ends of the ball, posting 13 and 14-game losing streaks on their way to 13 wins for the season. The Hawks suffered with injuries during the season with only rookie Josh Childress playing 80+ games. The Hawks were ranked second last in the league in both offense and defense, 5-points worse defensively than the league average and 5.5 points worse offensively.

It didn't help the Hawks that stars Shareef Abdur-Rahim and Theo Ratliff were traded away the season before to Portland. Childress and Josh Smith were picked up in the first round of the 2004 draft. Childress would only be as good as a sixth man for the Hawks and left in 2008. Smith, straight out of high school, was good without being great during his nine years in Atlanta.

7. 1986-87 Los Angeles Clippers

Record: 12-70
Winning percentage: 14.6%

This was the Clippers' third season in the NBA following relocation from San Diego. They would go through the entire 80s without a winning record, having to wait until 1991-92 to break the mark. The Clippers had no first round picks, heading into the 1986-87 season, having traded away their first pick from Philadelphia to Cleveland, and trading their 24th pick to Portland via Boston.

The Clippers scored the third lowest points per game (104.5) and allowed the second most (115.9). The roster on paper wasn't bad. Sophomore Michael Cage averaged 15.7 points and 11.5 rebounds per game and Mike Woodson posted 17.1 points per game. The issue with the Clippers was that they just weren't able to gel together as a unit.

6. 2009-10 New Jersey Nets

Record: 12-70
Winning percentage: 14.6%

The 2009-10 Nets had the worst ever start to a season, beginning with 18 straight losses which has since been tied with by the 2015-16 76ers. Coach Lawrence Frank was sacked after 16 of those losses, interim coach Tom Barrise then leading the Nets to the other two losses. General Manager Kiki Vandeweghe finished off the season with a 12-52 record.

The Nets got their first win against the Charlotte Bobcats on December 4 and a highlight for the season was stunning eventual Eastern Conference champions Boston on February 27. A young Devin Harris enjoyed his best years at the Nets and a young Brook Lopez had a break out year. Defensively the team was decent, but there just weren't enough pieces around the pair on offense with the Nets ranking last in the league.

Ok tribe, I'll be back tomorrow with the final five worst NBA teams of all-time.

Make her prove where she has been for 5 years or where she is now. She is involved deeply with @fystikken and his group. I cant say she is the one directly doing the v2k. Make her prove it. They have tried to kill me and are still trying to kill me. I bet nobody does anything at all. Make @battleaxe prove it. I bet she wont. They want me to believe the v2k in me is being broadcasted from her location. @battleaxe what is your location? https://ecency.com/fyrstikken/@fairandbalanced/i-am-the-only-motherfucker-on-the-internet-pointing-to-a-direct-source-for-voice-to-skull-electronic-terrorism
