Most Underrated Premier League Midfielders of All Time (Part 2)
G'day tribe. Couple days ago I posted the first part of the most underrated Premier League midfielders of all-time. I wrote about Danny Murphy most notable for his time at Liverpool. I also wrote about Gareth Barry who made a name for himself at Aston Villa and Manchester City.
Don't forget about Aussie Tim Cahill who is an Everton legend. Here is the final part and the two most underrated midfielders in EPL history.
2. Steed Malbranque
Steed Malbranque is one of the most underrated Premier League midfielders of all time. He earned fan favouritism at Fulham, Tottenham and Sunderland due to his stamina and strong work ethic across the pitch. Even the Prime Minister Tony Blair mentioned on national TV that Malbranque was a player that caught his eye
Malbranque is naturally quiet and unassuming which is why he mostly went under the radar and he was the sort of player that would have to be pushed into giving interviews. He finished with 39 Premier League goals and 55 assists from 336 games.
Steed Malbranque One of Tony Blair's top 3 favourite players, the versatile midfielder was also a fan favourite for Lyon, Fulham, Tottenham and Sunderland. 1. Ji Sung Park
South Korean Park Ji-Sung is the most underrated Premier League midfielder of all time. He never got the recognition he truly deserved. Ji-Sung had endless stamina in his seven seasons at Manchester United and he won an incredible 95 games in his 154 league appearances for the club.
Park Ji-Sung was a cult hero at the very least and a club legend to many. He had amazing speed, discipline, fitness levels beyond belief, a strong work ethic and was one of the best off the ball. Ji-Sung was also remarkably consistent and played increasingly better the bigger the occasion was.

YES, ANOTHER FOOTBALL BLOG...
Football Blog FC is a spin-off of Wolfgang Sport, an American and British sports blog I created in 2017. The beautiful game isn't what I remember it to be as a kid and using satire is my way of coping with it. FBFC was created to write about football with a bit of fun reflecting the current state of football.
Wow thank you so much my brother I'm a fan of Manchester United club, ji sung Park was agood player I'm a gree, but how is the life of Ji sung Park ?
My pleasure. He was a joy to watch and he just never seemed to stop at all!
Ji sung park was highly underrated I mean man was a powerful player and history didn’t talk much about him..
Yep it baffles me how little attention he gets post career. He really acted as a glue for Sir Alex Ferguson's teams
Ji Sung Park! This guy was really something. In a recent interview Rio Ferdinand revealed that he was like the dog on the chain for Fergie. Whenever he needed somebody to be taken out of the game, he jsut man-marked him with Park. Very cool series yet again :)
Oh wow what a way to describe him. So accurate too. He would've been annoying for so many opponents As he just never stopped!
Ji Sung Park was underrated? That guy was a beast of a midfielder and very effective at that. he ranks somewhere around Son, in terms of overall quality but had a much better career in terms of trophies
