My Actifit Report Card: December 13 2021
G'day Hive! I decided to put myself out there and share my journey to slim up, keep active and inspire people out there to exercise. Keeping physically active is the gateway to mental healthiness. Today I hit my 5km run on the treadmill during my lunch break.
Followed by a 10 minute warm down on the bike.
Diet is the absolute key. Despite doing physical exercise 6 days a week I'm not in peak condition because I don't watch what I eat.
Writing this up itself has given me motivation to give up the binge snack eating from tonight! They say diet is about 80% of your body's condition.
My journey to 100kg lean muscle begins. I was going to wait until the new year to begin. That's just another excuse in my eyes.
During my run I hit 191bpm heart rate, above my maximum heart rate. The fitter I get, the better I can maintain my heart rate at a safer level. Exceeding your maximum heart rate for more than a short time can be dangerous.
Your max heart rate is 220 minus your age and the ideal rate is between 50% to 85% during exercise.
