Alive and Thriving: Actifit Report: September 10 2024 Get right up

When life knocks you down, you get right up.

When asked how I am still working out after several years.
My response is ‘I keep getting up after each fall’.
It has not been a smooth workout sail. I sure do know the benefit of working out and have chosen to keep at it, no matter how many times I fall off the wagon.

After several years, I am most active in my walks and crazy energetic and the extra perk is that I rarely fall sick. When I do fall ill, it is usually unnoticed by others around me but the medications that have me napping to better recuperate.

I went for morning mass at 6 am then on returning home I cut out some outfits to sew before heading to the market for some grocery shopping. I took my purple umbrella ☂️ envisioning light showers but boy was I wrong. It rained cats and dogs, the sort that could sweep mighty umbrellas to the South Pole. I had to wait out the rain for almost an hour which had me shopping late and returning home even later.

I am mighty grateful for a successful day. I hope yours was more splendid.💕✨

Beautiful picture shots, especially the last one with the typical sky view after a rainfall.

I think that's a great approach to be consistent with things that are valuable to us, keep walking, even if we fall down, find a way to get back up again and keep walking...
