The name Valley of Dreams is enough to make you dream. This place is truly a dreamlike place. It is a natural wonder located in the northwestern part of the US state of New Mexico. It is a somewhat desert-like area that is famous for all the strangely shaped rocks, pillars and geological formations. The place has been shaped like a dream by wind and water erosion for thousands of years. Among the rocks of different colors and shapes here, mushroom-shaped rocks and huge individual stone pillars are truly amazing and mysterious.
Geologists estimate that the features of the Valley of Dreams began to form about seventy million years ago. The main geological elements of this region include sandstone, clay deposits and volcanic ash. Due to erosion over a long period of time, the effects of wind and water have given these rocks an extraordinary artistic form. Different colors are mixed in different layers of the rocks, creating a wonderful picture that is difficult to believe without seeing it with your own eyes!
