La frase: "El partido no se acaba hasta que se acaba" cobró todo el sentido del mundo, en este mundial pero en especial en este último encuentro entre Francia y Argentina. El fútbol está lleno de sorpresas, y los estadios se transforman en cajas de Pandora en donde solo en minutos, todo... T-O-D-O puede cambiar.

¿Medialunas o Croissant?

Ayer se definió el eterno debate entre si se llama medialuna o croissant, y al menos por los próximos cuatros años se llamarán medialuna, porque el equipo albiceleste se llevó la copa. En un partidazo no apto para cardiacos, bien reñido y emocionante que tenía a todo el mundo paralizado.

Ambos equipos eran bicampeones y querían el tri, ambos tenían jugadores estrellas, ambos el #10, ambos tenían la misma meta, pero solo uno podía declararse como el mejor del mundo.

Por un lado, el equipo francés no había perdido ni un solo partido, demostrado el execelente rendimiento que tenían como los campeones actuales que eran, hasta ese momento.
Por el otro lado, estaba la selección Argentina, que a pesar de que perdieron el primer partido del mundial, en ningún otro se rindieron, y jugaron hasta ganarlos.

¡Qué gran momento para estar vivos!

Fue todo y más. Este partido es histórico, no solo por lo épico que fue, sino por todas las "mufas" y maldiciones y malas rachas que se rompieron en este mundial.

• Se decía que el campeón actual no pasaba de la fase de grupos, y Francia llegó hasta la final.
• Se decía que el equipo que ganaba la Copa América no gana el mundial siguiente, y Argentina se llevó la copa.

También es histórico porque en esta final del mundial Qatar 2022 se rompieron varios récords:

• Messi se convirtió en el futbolista que más partidos ha jugado en la historia del mundial, con un total de 26.
• Argentina fue la selección a la que más penales a favor le pitaron en un mundial, con un total de 5 veces.

• Mbappé se llevó el título al máximo goleador de Qatar 2022, con un total de 8 goles.
• También Mbappé se convirtió el segundo futbolista en la historia en marcar un hat-trick en una final mundialista.

Predicciones cumplidas

Habían dos predicciones predominantes para este Mundial Qatar 2022:

• La predicción de los Simpsons (serie que ha acertado muchas acontecimientos históricos como el ataque de las torres gemelas y la elección de Trump como presidente) daba a ganador a la selección de Brasil, tras un partido "comprado" lleno de actos de violencia y terminaría con el fallecimiento de un jugador.
• Y el modelo matemático del corredor de bolsa británico, Joachim Klemen, quien daba como ganadora a la selección de Argentina. (Hace unos meses les hice un vídeo sobre este tema)

Y aunque solo el pronóstico del modelo matemático acertó, no podemos obviar que otras cosas se cumplieron a medias, como el escándalo del supuesto intento de chantaje de Qatar en el partido inaugural contra Ecuador y aunque gracias a Dios, ningún jugador falleció, el futbolista iraní Amir Nars-Azadani fue condenado a muerte en su país.

Lecciones del fútbol

1. No se puede subestimar el talento de nadie: es difícil creer que antes muchos dudaban de Scaloni el director técnico de Argentina (hasta Maradon), quien hace solo 6 años atrás entrenaba a niños y ahora dirige al mejor equipo del mundo.
   Gracias a su falta de experiencia Scaloni tuvo que convencer no solo a la federación, y a los jugadores, sino a toda una nación de que él sí estaba al nivel, y sin duda alguna, desde su llegada la selección de Argentina ha sido otra, nos mostró a una Argentina que ya no jugaba para Messi, sino que ahora jugaba con Messi y que los llevo a ganar la Copa América y ahora, la Copa del Mundo.

2. La lengua es castigo del cuerpo: la vida da muchas vueltas y se encarga de poner todo en su lugar, hace unos días el delantero francés Mbappé dijo: "En Sudamérica el fútbol no está tan avanzado como en Europa" y justo ahora la copa se va para Sudamérica.

3. La vida es como un partido de fútbol: impredecible, en donde lo más importante es confiar en los tuyos, entregar el 100, sentir la pasión por lo que haces y no rendirte hasta el final.

¿Final perfecto?

Sin duda alguna, el gran ganador indiscutible del mundial fue el Fútbol y la pasión que emana se expandió a todos los rincones del mundo. Desde muy temprano se sentía el ambiente festivo pero para mí el final perfecto, hubiese sido celebrar y a la vez usar ese momento de atención para también ser parte del cambio y apoyar al futbolista iraní Amir Nars- Azadani, quien está condenado a muerte por demostrar públicamente su apoyo a los derechos de la mujer en su país.

Undoubtedly, the undisputed winner of the World Cup was Soccer and the passion it emanates spread to all corners of the world. From very early on, the festive atmosphere was felt, but for me the perfect ending would have been to celebrate and at the same time use that moment of attention to also be part of the change and support the Iranian soccer player Amir Nars-Azadani, who is condemned to death for publicly demonstrating his support for women's rights in his country.
