Why Am I A Rosenborg BK Supporter?

Hey there, fellow HIVE users and dear readers from both HIVE and outside of it! For today's sixth post here on my HIVE blog, I decided to write a bit about why I am a Rosenborg BK supporter (even though I'm not from Norway or Norwegian for that matter), at a milder level, that is.

What I mean by 'at a milder level' is that I never been to Lerkendal Stadion in Trondheim where the club is based ever before nor have I (yet) bought any supporter stuff/equipment from the club's official store (but I plan to during this Christmas), however this club has remained my sturdy favourite one throughout the passing of time, as I first got to play with it in FIFA 10, the mobile version on iPhone during the early 2010s.

Imagine winning UEFA Champions League with Rosenborg BK in FIFA 10, heh. That's quite a thought to ponder on even there, for a fun and not real competition. But, as in real life, winning Tippeligaen (or Eliteserien as it is now known), is far more easier, naturally.

Anyway, it is no secret that Rosenborg is also Norway's most successful football club in terms of total national trophies won, but, unfortunately, the club has been struggling recently, both domestically and in the European cups, where it was recently eliminated by Scottish side Hearts (i.e. Heart of Midlothian F.C.) in the 3rd qualifying round of the ongoing edition of UEFA Europa Conference League.

Hopefully, Rosenborg will make it through during the next couple of years and bounce back from its struggles, both domestically and in Europe where I am really looking forward to seeing more positive results for the club, as they deserve, of course.
