1er entrenamiento de la semana / 1st workout of the week

Yesterday I was running again, after going 3 days without doing it. And I felt that my body still needed a lot of rest, as I subjected it to a very big demand during the past 3 weeks when I was participating in the #vacarunner challenge. Here's a little bit about that run yesterday.
First of all, I had only planned to run 5 km, so I started running hard from the beginning, but both the little habit of going at that speed and the tiredness I still have in my body didn't let me continue beyond the mile and a half at that pace. From there I had to slow down to my usual pace of 6 minutes or a little less.
Although I knew from the beginning of the race that I wasn't in the best condition to run, I wanted to do it because it had been 3 days since the last race and I also wanted to run as a way to celebrate coming in first place in the #vacarunner challenge, which was organized by the #hiverun community. I must thank all my teammates because thanks to their advice and encouragement I was able to have the strength to keep running.
