It's the time of the year when the saffron blooms.

Beautiful crocuses color the garden purple and attract so many bees and insects.

They will bloom for another two weeks or so and then only their sharp green leaves remain.

Lovely purple flowers! I miss buying crocuses in the summer long time ago.
