Lemon thyme

The beautiful evergreen tuft of lemon thyme bloomed in late May, in a beautiful lilac color.

I carefully picked blooming stalks, which I will dry in the shade.

Apart from being an herb, I will also use lemon thyme as an aromatic spice.

Thyme has anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, expectorant and analgesic effects - Priceless!
