Cycling in Rhodopes mountain - Day 2

Another great day spent with friends and bicycles in the Rhodopes.

The day started with homemade mekis and Rhodope jam prepared by our hosts.

We crossed the bridge over Arda to climb to the village of Ravnil.

A bicycle route followed through the villages of Arpadzhik, Leshtak, Koriite and Leska.

Apart from the asphalt road, we also passed through black paths.

My favorite moment of the day was crossing the cable-stayed bridge near the village of Leshtak.

That day we were cycling 26 km. + 930m total ascent.

Wow, the track is very challenging!
Surely you need high concentration and a lot of energy to get through it all.

I'm sure, if you do it alone it will be very tiring. But, when you do it with friends, cycling with heavy routes like that will be easy and become a lot of fun.

The scenery is very beautiful and attractive. Moreover, when you are served a cake like that, the deliciousness will be doubled.

Your documentation is excellent. We can share what you are going through out there.
