My Actifit Report Card: September 27 2023

Hello again everyone. I trust y'all doing great over there. Today has just been a great day for me and an amazing one. I woke up healthy and strong by God's grace. As a serving corper in Nigeria, there are things that are required by every corper to do at their Places of Primary Assignment, which is CDS (Community Development Service).

For the southern Iajaw zone here I Bayelsa that I was posted to, we do have our CDS every Friday, but this week it was shifted to today cos of a SAED (Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development) program that was scheduled for us.

The SAED program was mainly on Human Resources Management (HRM) and the guest speaker was very good and gave her speech very well. I was really inspired by her words and teaching.

The program took about 3 hours and I left my lodge around 9 am to the venture where it was held.

After the program, we all went back to our various lodges, and so did I as well. I went back to my lodge, freshened up and then went to restaurant to have lunch. I bought egusi soup this time so I could eat.

After lunch, I went back to my lodge and had some sleep as I was really tired. In the evening, I played snooker with other of my colleagues in the same lodge and I had fun. Although I didn't really know how to play, I won a few times as I was playing and learning at the same time. When I was much younger, I didn't like the s ooker game, but I think now I do.

My day in a nutshell was a splendid one and I really enjoyed it. It was a great and successful one by God's grace.
