Lunar Festival Sofia

Hi there Hive Family,

Today I went a Latin Social Dancing event in the center of Sofia and danced with my friends.

After it got dark and we decided to wrap things up, I told them that it was a perfect time to go visit the Lunar festival as it starts right after the sun sets.

Basically it is an event that happens around the 9th of May which is Europe Day. And every capital in Europe has this lighting show on emblematic buildings and their facades.

This is for example is Hotel Hyatt facade.

And because the hotel is located right next to Vasil Levski monument. It also depicts his face. Vasil Levski is a revolutionary figure who helped liberate Bulgaria from Ottoman rule.

That is the National Bibliothek. This is an illustration of water life.

This is the National Gallery. It not only showed is pictures but it was a fluid film with a story behind it. Very impressive and the effects were outstanding.

We saw a girl possessed by evil power. Spoken at from different angles and inside her head. But she realized that she must stick together with her friends and family and she will overcome any obstacle and mishaps in the world. She is shown as a grim person who is placed to be tortured and maltreated but she also knows the way out. It is love and compassion and she finds it.

The world crumbles before her. You can see demons and cockroaches. Evil spirits and demolished buildings. But she stood up and did not let this happen. She knew that this is only a prediction. Not a real thing unless she accepts it to be that way.

And so she remains positive and hopeful. Inspired to give love not hate and spread happiness around the world. Peace and love unity.

We passed by the parliament.

This is National Theater Ivan Vazov.

Our last location was the the National Palace of Culture. We passed by a street guy showing tricks with flame sticks.

A heart tunnel.

I really loved my night walk and the lunar festival.
