Watching football with a bottle of beer.

Hello friends and fellow lovers of beer🍻, Welcome once again to my blog. Today am delighted to share with you how I spent my Saturday evening drinking a bottle of beer and watching football. This will also mark my first entry into the #Beersaturday challenge. So, on this day under review, I had a very busy day at work till around 4pm in the evening then I left the shop to my friends house. The wife had invited me to their last daughters birthday. When I got to their house, the whole place was so busy and roudy. I settled down somewhere till when I could see my friends wife, I called her and gave her my present for the "birthday girl" and left. On my way home, I stopped at a popular hotel in Aba, known as Luxury city, to see the Newcastle Vs Arsenal game. The game was supposed to start at about 18:30. (That's 7:30pm)

Once I arrived, I went straight to the section they sell smoky charred beef & chicken, normally peppered and served with sliced onions, tomatoes, cucumbers or cilantro. Here in Nigeria, we call it suya, we mostly use it to enjoy our beer.

I ordered for the beef worth about 2HBD and went and settled down and ordered and paid for a child bottle of chilled Heineken beer, soon after, my beer arrived and subsequently, the game commenced. There, a bottle of beer costs about 1.2 HBD.

Yeah! My beer just arrived.

Heineken is my beer brand for a very long time now. I settled for it after I discovered that there are many imitation beer in circulation. But I heard this brand is difficult to counterfeit. Heineken is a Breewed by Heineken N.V, a Dutch brewing company, founded by; Gerard Adriaan in 1864. They own more than 165 breweries, brewing over 348 diffrent kinds of beers accross 70 different counties. It has 5% alcohol content and sold in a green bottle. Very foamy with the great bear teste. I prefer it when it chilled.

It didn not take long before my Suya also arrived.

When the Newcastle Vs Arsenal game started, I was almost 💯 confident that Arsenal would win. But to my greatest dismay, Arsenal failed to score and eventually lost 1 - 0 to the host club.
I personally think taht Arsenal has a foundamenyal probablem, responsible for stopping them from clinging to the #EPL trophy all these years. Could it be management? Crop of players or what?

I continued decimating my beer and Suya. Below is a picture of me emptying the last content of the bottle into the the cup.

This was how I spent my evening dinking a bottle of my favorites beer while I watch the beautiful game of #football.
