My Actifit Report Card: March 3 2024
Hello friends! Hope our day has been fine.
Today is Sunday. We went to church in the morning. There has been a lot of singing and dancing, so we sure carried out a lot of activities to exercise the body and keep it in shape.
Coming back from church, I decided to check up on the farm. In anticipation of the rain, we have been doing a lot of bush clearing and land cultivation to prepare the ground for planting immediately the rain begins.
Farming has been very helpful in supporting our family with food. In few cases we have sold our produce to generate income.
Mostly, we cultivate cassava, potatoes, yam, maize, beans and groundnuts. All the other crops had been harvested. It only the cassava which we still have in the farm.
The work we are doing now is that of clearing the bush and then cultivating the land so that we will plant the crops when the rain begins. Today, we did a lot of clearing and hoeing.
