My Actifit Report Card: November 26 2023
Hello friends and community members of the actifit community. I want to share with you my activity report of today, Sunday, 26th November, 2023.
Let's go!
After church service, I decided to go and do some cassava harvesting from our cassava farm.
I get out of our house and get on the way to the farm.
I passed a family of a mother and two teen children return from somewhere.
Then I met an Alfa, a muslim clergy who might have been returning from the mosque.
I then got to a local pond where children used to catch frogs.
Then I got to a matured rice farm.
And a guinea corn farm on the way.
I then got to the tarred road where I would board a taxi or keke napep to the farm area.
After few minutes of waiting by the road side, a keke napep arrived and I boarded.
Beside the farm land, a woman sell fried potatoes and soft drinks. I bought some potatoes.
And a bottle of Pepsi to regain strength which I would need to pull the cassava.
Finally, I have arrived at the cassava farm.
I started harvesting.
I was impressed by the sized of the cassava tubers. They were big!
This cassava is about six months old and the harvest was encouraging. The harvest was more than I could finish a day. So tomorrow, I will be going back to the farm for continuation of the harvest.
That is my report of today's cassava harvesting exercise.
