Mastercard Launches NFT UEFA Champions League Trivia Game

Payments giant Mastercard has launched its Web3-powered trivia competition that rewards football fans for their footie knowledge of the UEFA Champions League. The trivia competition will test fans' knowledge from own goals to penalty shoot deciders. This was captured in an announcement and is to take effect from 13 February to 01 June, 2024.

Fans will be able to collect Mastercard and UEFA Champions League branded digital passes via the platform. This pass would grant them the chance to win tickets to the UEFA Champions League Final at London’s Wembley Stadium.

The announcement captured that each quiz will kick-off 30 minutes before the start of each UEFA Champions League round of Tuesday fixtures, starting on 13 February with the last one taking place right before the final match on 01 June.
