Four (4) Years on Hive - A Journey of Mutual Impact

I'm glad that finally after a week off, I could resume my posting on Hive today. I was off for a rural evangelism and it was fun taking out some days to share with the poor in the rural region and sharing with them my faith. I'll bring the reports here shortly. This post was due for last Monday, 24th January, 2022 but could not go live.

24 January 2022 marked my 4th anniversary on the Hive blockchain. I can remember that Wednesday afternoon when @Tomlee worked into my office and after getting to know the services I rendered there - Research reporting & Data Analysis, he told me about SteemitHive and how my skills could be well rewarded there. He was really young in the blockchain and all he could really tell me was the financial aspect of the platform. He helped me signup and I started going through posts.

Very remarkable was the fact that I found a place where information was shared for free and I had a lot to learn from STEM, blockchain technology and Cryptocurrency. The early days were not easy. Though, I persevered and learnt with my full chest. My introduction post was just about $0.22 but that never determined how successful I would be on Hive Four years down the line.

The Four years on Hive comprised 1461 days (plus 1 day of leap year 2020) and it's exciting to see the level of growth I attained on Hive over those days. On the first layer:

• I made 1,917 posts (at least 1.3 posts daily)
• I made 9,509 comments (at least 6.5 comments daily)
• I earned 11,667 HP Author Rewards (at least 7.9 Hive daily)
• I earned 554 HP Curation rewards (at least 0.37 Hive daily).

On the second second layer, over $10,000 worth of HIVE has been earned from the several hive-engine tokens through content creation and curation.

More endearing is the fact that I discovered a profitable job opportunity on the second layer of Hive which has made me to become a crypto entrepreneur known as Curapreneur. I've grown with my curation holdings of SPORTS, LEO, ONEUP, POB, LIST, CTP, CENT, SPT tokens and more and they yield decent daily returns.

From what was just meant to be a social stage to share ideas and learn from others, my journey on Hive metamorphosed to become a source of livelihood and employment. I sincerely appreciate the curators on Hive on the main and second layer communities that have supported my contents over the first Four years of being here.

From just earning from contents, #Play2earn games emerged and I engaged some. Thanks to the creation of Splinterlands, Rabona Soccer manager and the recent ChiFiBot that are fun sources of wealth for me. SIncerely, space and time would fail me to enumerate the details of how awesome this journey here has been.

Thank you @hivebuzz for reminding me and keeping the stats over the years. Four years on Hive is not four months nor Four weeks. It's been a journey of dedication, consistency and quality contribution and I think I deserve the congratulation that comes with it. Many users we started this journey with had many reasons to discontinue, but I persevered even when all days weren't rosy. There were challenging times and joyful moments.

I am glad that I have in my own little way contributed to the growth of this blockchain by onboarding new users (over 100), personally mentoring some of them that are really doing well, contributing to the growth of communities via my contents and promotions and more.
