“You can have all the ability in the world, but if you don’t have the right attitude, you’ll never be a great player.” – Dwight Yorke
We all say the same, only with different words... at least that is partly true. If you look through the posts I have shared in the last couple of weeks, you will see quotes from both football players and coaches, and you will see several quotes dealing with the importance of the attitude of the players. In fact, the attitude supersedes the talent, because even though talent is impressive, you will not get far without the right attitude.

So, if you want to be a great player, you need to work hard on your attitude. How do you react when people do not pass the ball to you? What do you say when someone else gets the promotion you deserved? How do you react when someone speaks badly about you behind your back or in front of a large crowd? When you fall and feel like a failure, how do you react then?
These are all questions that deals with your attitude. You can practice, run, and exercise all day, and you will for sure get better and improve, but unless you manage to bring your attitude along, you will still be in trouble.
