My Actifit Report Card: December 24 2024

A great day as I ran a strong 7 trail miles around Lynx Lake on a sunny and mild Christmas Eve day. This time next week I'll be several hours into my New Year's Eve 24 hour try down in the Across the Years ultra.-

Lulu and I enjoyed an early morning 2 miles on our usual morning loop where we chatted with a couple of our friends before heading home.
I figured th workout and tomorrow I'll start tapering down and rest for 3 days before the ultra.at today's trail run would be my last hard workout. The forest was very quiet with just a few cars and I crossed paths with just a couple of other people and it was great to cruise along on empty trails.

I had no trouble on the many climbs on the winding trails except for a very rocky section along Lynx Creek that then made a short and steep uphill before hitting a nice wide trail that carried me to the finish.
Looking forward to the 24 hour and then a couple of weeks to get ready for a tougher 100 miler on the trails on the Estrella Mountains.
