My Actifit Report Card: August 23 2024
My increased running intensity caught up with me today over in Granite Basin as I felt tired and didn't have the energy in my legs to complete a hard trail run around Mint Wash.
The narrow trail started off at the lake and wound along the edge of the very dry and rocky Mint Wash for 2 miles before crossing over and winding back through the hills above the wash.
The trail was narrow and mostly rocky so it required concentration to not trip on the rocks. There weren't any really tough climbs but my thighs just didn't have much energy and I was struggling past 4 miles.
Hiked the last bit so a long workout all together.
Enjoyed an easy 2 miles walking along Lynx Lake latr in the afternoon with Lulu. Just an easy pace to loosen up my legs and hopefully I'll be better for a road run tomorrow.
