My Actifit Report Card: July 12 2024
My running continues to improve - albeit slowly - but after such a long absence from distance running, I'm content so far.
We enjoyed a nice family walk early this morning before the traffic picked yp and the sun brought out the heat. I'm glad to see my wife was able to walk the whole loop with us but I don't think she'll be hiking the trails anytime soon 😅.
We had a lot of shopping to do so Lulu and I didn't go anywhere special so I concentrated on a temporary run to see how things are going.
It was already hot but my run was 5 km over a variation of our morning route with half on the mostly flat roads and the rest looping around the large field. The dirt run had a nice steady climb which had me breathing hard but I was able to maintain a good pace.
Hopefully I'll do well tomorrow.
