My Actifit Report Card: May 17 2024
It was another day hauling buckets of dirt from the woods to add to my little garden and getting a few more feet of fencing installed.
Fortunately, we had plenty of time for a pleasant hike along Lynx Creek for a few miles before heading back home to do more yard work.
There weren't too many people at the creek and we could enjoy the relatively quiet forest with just a couple of chattering squirrels to give Lulu some excitement and a chance to run up the hillsides in chase.
The creek water level continues to dwindle with just a small with rivulet flowing. It was easy hiking along the old jeep road until the road ended and we continued on for another mile along and off and on narrow path that climbed up the hillside.
From there we climbed down to the creek through the narrow valley and them along another narrow path lower down along the rocky creek bed.
I treated Lulu to some tasty snacks back at the car and then it was back home to spread yet more dirt.
Probably will be doing the same tomorrow.
