My Actifit Report Card: May 16 2023
It's Tuesday so it was a very nice but overcast day up in Flagstaff this morning. Lulu's back foot was better but I decided not to take her on our usual long hike on the forest trails and instead looped around the downtown area instead.
She wasn't hobbling much and we had a good couple of miles.
It was off and on sprinkles for my afternoon walk back at home but it wasn't enough to get anything wet (it's very dry again so some moisture would be nice).
4 miles of good walking although my knee was sore for a bit at first but that's probably from the drive..
A bit of great luck however as my walk was quite "rewarding " I more ways than just a lot of good steps
Normally it's just a few coins every now and then but someone dropped President Grant instead this time.

Good on you for that lucky find! I found a $100 bill rolled up real tight once near a McDonald's trash can. I wonder what they were using it for? :)
I have always been a magnet for money mainly because I have my eyes down at the ground scanning for booty. As a kid at the drag strips I would always find a pocket full of change. One time there was a 20 floating along by the rails to the track and my Dad boosted me over the chainlink fence so I could go grab it as a car was about to do the warmup burnout. I climbed back over the fence to the smell of burning rubber and nitro methane with a 20 in my hand, it was so awesome.
