My Actifit Report Card: May 29 2023
It's a public holiday in my country today, 29th May 2023. It is the beginning of a new dispensation of government. It is the inauguration of the 16th president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria . Today , the outgoing president, Gen (rtd) Mohammadu Buhari gives way for the incoming one after 8 years in government, President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The day started with heavy downpours, some presumed it to be showers of blessings as a new dispensation of government comes into play . The new president, Bola Ahmed Tinubu is known to be a big game political player in Nigerian politics.
Although, him being elected into office doesn't augur well with some citizens of the county if not even most; but I believe all things being equal he will be able to dispense his duties in good health . His health is another course to be worried about , but his loyalists claim all is well with Jagaban as he is fondly called .
What's in store for the Nigerian populace in the next 4 years ? Only time can tell !
