The NBA Finals are in full swing, and the Boston Celtics took on the Golden State Warriors. The fourth quarter of the game saw the Celtics win, and Gary Payton II's absence from the game due to illness made a difference.
The Celtics took the Warriors in a 120-108 win in the first round of the finals. This game was alot of fun to watch, and the Celtics came out with a powerful offense. The Celtics were the comeback kids of the game, and it was alot of fun to watch, and the teams were evenly matched on an exciting first game.
The Celtics dominated in the last quarter. Gary Payton II will play in game 2 tonight and will be a major defensive factor for the Golden State Warriors. This is likely going to factor into the Warrior's survivability in the NBA Finals going forward. The Celtics didn't so so well last season, but several changes to the lineup and coach changes made their win of the first Finals game a testiment to how change from within can pay off. I'm excited to see where this is going.
Game 2 starts tonight at 5pm. I'm looking forward to another great game to start the week.
