Diego Maradona is one of the most famous soccer players, and his recent heart attack death was tragic. Maradona died at 60, and his medical team is facing charges for negligence. Maradrona had a long history as an Argentinian soccer player, and began playing as a young boy after being discovered at the age of 8. Maradona died in 2020 after blood-clot surgery and his team is facing charged in Argentina.

Diego Maradona, whose nickname was “the Golden Boy” was widely regarded as the best soccer player to play in FIFA. He played for Argentina and won numerous awards for his performance in the league. Maradona played in multiple FIFA Cups, and became a coach and chairman on several soccer teams. The most electrifying game to watch with Maradona at the helm was the 1986 World Cup, in which Maradona scored a goal with his hand and followed up with another goal almost immediately. This controversial goal vs England has stood in infamy as the “Hand of God” goal.

Maradona had setbacks and injuries during his career that he overcame. Maradona was famous for his ability to control the ball and was a very accurate passer, was adept with dribbing to protect the ball and scored many goals. He outperformed his opponents on the field, and was a powerhouse in the 1980s and 1990s. He was even mistaken for an older child when he was first scouted at 8-years old, and he drove right past defenders on the field. In short, he was an entertaining and excellent player to watch.

Maradona had rain surgery in 2020, has his medical team was entrusted to provide medical care and surveillance. Maradona died of a heart attached in November of 2020, and his team is being charged with “Simple Homicide”. The eight-person medical team has denied their involvement

Maradona’s life should be celebrated. He was an expert player with a long history of excellence as a player, coach and chairman. He will be missed, and two years later his death investigation is still ongoing.
