Mercedes es un equipo que durante un lustro nos acostumbró a ver su coche competir por lo más alto, consiguiendo todos los títulos desde hace 8 años, solo la excepción del campeonato de pilotos del año anterior. La escuadra alemana se encuentra en una posición extraña para ellos, por primera vez en 9 años no tienen un coche ganador.
