Is Marlians Now A Dead Project?

Marlians was one of those tribes that was introduced shortly after the launch of Sportstalk. Many people bought the token with the high hope that it's going to gain some level of adoption
Many people like myself bought some marlins and powered up our accounts hoping it will give us another stream of income aside our Sports earnings.
If my memory serves me right I remember buying up to 2000 Marlians when the sell order was still at 0.2 steem. Unfortunately, the 2000 Marlians that cost me up to 400 steem has crashed so bad and can only be sold for 18 Steem
Now, nothing seems not to be working on Marlians again. The price keeps crashing everyday and there's no hope of resurrection and it looks like the founders have abandoned the project.
The Marlian trybe has now become more of a dumping ground since nothing new is happening there. No updates at all, nothing is done on the platform to give investors any reason to buy the token.
I looked at the 24 hour volume today and I discovered it's just $4. This shows no one believes in the project anyone
I don't now if I'm wrong if I come to a conclusion that Marlins is dead and my money is gone?
Thats the very bad thing to know,thats why i keep my focus on sportstalksocial.thou i earned not much on sports and i devide my earning to stake and withdraw while i'm jobless but still i can have benefits on sports and i realy amze and appreciate all the people at sports community. I am now also power down to buy and stake sport and i used it 50/50 to my daily needs.

The founder is @surpassinggoogle, and he just posted an update yesterday, @tosyne2much. I know he has been quite ill lately, but I also not he has not abandoned the project. He has been asking for help with parts of the work, but has not received it. This is the tribe I have the most tokens in, but by blogging or by gift since I have no money to invest.

Nor surprised as is open to abuse and other tribes will follow. If users have invested in something they need to pay careful attention to what is happening. This is why we are policing what is happening here and we should all be using our downvotes. If we don't sports could go the same way. Look at every spam post or dlike post and Marlains is always one of the tribes tagged yet nothing happens.

To me none of the tribes here are successful if you judge by financial value. That requires patience - while you always have dumpers on such platforms - the Marlians and their founder have very good intentions!
