Alice’s in Wonderland Anniversary- My Actifit Report Card: November 26 2022
On 26 November 1865, the illustrated fantasy novel Alice's Adventures in Wonderland was published. Its author was Lewis Carrol, the pseudonym of a British writer called Charles Lutwidge, a multifaceted character who was not only a writer but also a mathematician, photographer and clergyman.
Alice's Adventures in Wonderland revolves around the figure of Alice, a little girl who, while chasing a rabbit she is curious about, falls down a hole that takes her to a fantasy world where she will meet peculiar characters and experience incredible adventures.
Although a priori it is a story written for children, the work contains many elements of logical and mathematical reasoning and includes a set of philosophical and anthropological elements of great interest. Particularly important are the large number of sentences of wisdom and morals that appear throughout the story.
The great success of this book has led to numerous adaptations for film, television, theatre, video games and cartoons.
