The White Album Anniversary- My Actifit Report Card: November 22 2022
On 22 November 1968, The Beatles' ninth studio album is released. It is a double album with 30 untitled songs. It has an all-white cover with the band's name embossed on it, which is why it has always been popularly known as "The White Album".
Most of the songs on this album were composed during the famous spiritual trip the four members of the band made that same year to India.
Most experts have always considered that it was a mistake to create a double album and that they should have chosen the best songs for a single album. But despite this, and despite the fact that the tensions and disagreements between the members were already evident at the time, "The White Album" contains some masterpieces. Curiously, the song "Hey Jude", one of the most famous anthems in the Liverpool quartet's discography, was not included on the album and appeared only as a single.
