Someone told me...

...that the older we get the more we should exercise strength, an activity that I am not passionate about but that I admit.
Yes, for a few months now I have been including more strength exercises in my routine, usually after my running session and focused on strengthening the core but also arms and shoulders.
The good thing about my training place is that it allows me to do it outdoors and not be permanently in the typical indoor gym, so I not only do my exercises but if the weather permits, I enjoy a good sunbath as well.
Keep on running!

One of the worst mistakes a human being can make is to stop moving. I thank the universe every day for keeping me active with my workouts since I was little, I really enjoy it and like you, I love exercising outdoors.

I'm glad you feel good about it too and I hope you continue to stay strong as the years go by.

A big hug my friend. 💪🏻

Exercise will strengthen your body and increase immunity. Nice to know that you are admitted to the exercise

Yep, as you get older increase muscle-building exercises and protein intake.

Same here... I try to build in one strengthening training a week. I am/was a passionate basketball player, but I had to give it up step by step. But only running and cycling is not enough. especially because of an antihormontherapy that makes osteoporosis often... So weight training is a must have for me, I still hope I can find a way, how I would enjoy it. Actually I have also problem with finding an intensity, that pushes my pulse enough high.
