Run to restore circadian rhythm
In case you don't know, here in Europe we changed our clocks to summertime this past weekend, which usually causes imbalances in the body, mainly a sleep disturbance.
These effects are not usually long-lasting, so after a few days, the circadian rhythm ends up adjusting to the new day-night conditions. I have to say that it affects me a lot...
I just don't see the advantages of this setting... surely there are a few that may even be making a profit in terms of energy savings... frankly, I doubt it.
However, for runners like me, I find that turning the clock forward in the summer can provide benefits if you are an "early hour" runner.
The temperature is ideal, the sun is not bothering yet and the city still seems to be in "sleep" mode.
I have to say that my body has not yet recovered from this time change as I have noticed an unusual drop in heart rate for the usual effort, which means that my circadian rhythm could still be adjusting. Obviously, today is the first day that I go running so early after the time change.
In any case, I have enjoyed the training and, again, the beautiful scenes of the dawn.
More details about my activity in the @strava2hive post will be published later.
Keep on running!

All views had the perfect angles and honestly, I am so mesmerized by the lovely views. You captured a very wonderful moment in the photo my friend. Blessings to you and more great walks in life.
Thanks
I too think that the hour shift (even if is a light change) creates some affection to the body that get some rhythm with the Sun and the Moon exposure.
Anyway, I too think that sport, yoga and other practices are great way to remove inertia of the change and overcome it!
I really don't get this thing. I had a few days of getting accustomed with the summer hour as well. They said they would ditch it, but as usual it's all lies.
Lazy guys
Hola, qué incómodo esos cambios de horarios y más cuando tenemos hábitos establecidos en horas específicas… muy bonitos los paisajes, saludos.
