It hasn't been bad at all...
Yes, although my training has been short, I am happy.
I spent last week with continuous discomfort, headache and gastroenteritis...I took the COVID test and it came back positive...so training was paused until today.
I didn't want to force my body so I limited myself to jogging in progression for about 4km...I did well because although I ran at an average pace of 5'/km, my heart was beating too fast denoting the reality of my physical state after of the f@cking virus...
Even so, after the 4km run under a blazing sun, I wanted to do 5 quick progressives of 100m, run under 20" each... This has left a better taste in my mouth since I see that I still have strength in the legs.
At the end of the "pedestrian" part of the training, I dedicated myself to doing core strengthening work and some dynamic stretching...
I hope that after this workout, any remaining virus has gone away due to sweating 🤣
